M3: Moderation-Mediation-Motivation

This is Founder Paul Clements-Hunt’s specialism building on a 35-year career covering entrepreneurship, the United Nations, policy, and the media. As a UN official heading the global institution’s largest partnership with international finance, investment and insurance, Clements-Hunt coined ESG in 2004. He executes highly regarded moderation, mediation and motivation (M3) services. With long stints living in Africa, Asia, and Europe, he understands the critical need for a balanced cross-cultural approach to make international partnerships impactful. Clements-Hunt has also conceived, developed, delivered and exited on a range of businesses covering responsible investment and impact, often involving complex international partnerships. The M3 service brings partnership to life for a client’s team and stakeholders.
ESG4.0 Strategic Advisory
Are you getting your ESG strategy right? We use the ESG4.0 methodology to deepen your institution-wide understanding of sustainability risks and opportunities to achieve ESG Inside. TBCG deploys its team’s collective decades of experience to establish a baseline of future options for clients. This may mean:
- dealing with internal ESG strategy at the Board level
- working across teams to align institution-wide ESG action
- creating, assessing, and or refreshing partnerships, and
- addressing critical thematic issues across governance, value chains, climate issues, natural capital, and or social issues.
TBCG’s strategic advisory services are based on a deep understanding of political, policy, cultural, financial, and governance dynamics. Our ESG4.0 Masterclass is a good place to start to derive maximum value from our Strategic Advisory Services.

Engineering Powerful Impact Partnerships

Building on our early ESG4.0 Strategic Advisory work, a client may decide to create and/or refresh existing sustainability partnerships. Engineering and maintaining successful, impactful partnerships is an art rather than science. This work often involves public, private and civil society group’s working together to create powerful partnerships which last and deliver true impact.
Partnership Training
Partnerships need to be kept fresh, focused, and communicate consistently to internal and external audiences. Whether building a partnership from scratch or refreshing an existing partnership, TBCG’s ESG4.0 Masterclass training, delivered with a world recognised Wellness specialist, will focus on the “how to” to maximise impact and motivate the client’s team and partners.

Legal ESG

The Blended Capital Group’s work with the late Professor Paul Q. Watchman defined what an ESG Law Firm should be. In the Dragon Series we explored how law firms should address ESG challenges and opportunities. We now offer a tailored service to enable these complex professional service organisations to maximise their sustainability opportunities across their advisory and litigation offerings. We work with partner firm Gen-R Law to facilitate this service.
Funding Partnerships
TBCG focuses its capital and financing work for partnerships on impact investors, high-net worth families (HNW), and private foundations. Whether mission driven or driving for legacy achievements, TBCG finds that focused work with rich families and focused impact investors is the best way to bring funding to build vibrant, replicable and scalable Powerful Impact Partnerships.
